Belmar Foods was established in 1981 by Sam and Mary Chisari, and is today, one of Australia’s market leaders in the production of fresh pasta products.
Sam and Mary both have a strong passion for food, and have previously been at the helm of some successful Western Australian restaurants. They pride themselves in being fastidious with quality, quality, and quality. With Sam being originally from Italy, they bring the delicious flavours of Sam’s motherland to Australia with tasty Italian style foods perfect for the Australian market place.
Belmar Foods was originally situated in Osborne Park, Western Australia during its infancy, before relocating to a purpose-built facility in Balcatta in 1994.
This structure was specifically designed for:
- Production and export of pasta and pasta products
- Satisfying meat export standards – Belmar Foods has had many customers world wide and is export and locally focused
- Manufacturing filled pasta, fresh frozen pasta and related products such as arancini and croquettes
